My experiences as a student in NMIMS Shirpur have shaped the way I live my life. The Computer Science department of NMIMS has well known experts in the field as faculties. You are taught by well experienced and co-operative professors in a way you can understand the concept fully and quench your thirst for knowledge. Nurturing the student from the basic is the quality of the faculties. Industrial interaction, skill development, practical exposure are part of the regular curriculum. Library is equipped with well acclaimed books, international journals and also many self-help books which suffice every student's need. It provides you with good placement opportunities and builds you to face the real world. The infrastructure and facilities make your stay even more worthwhile. This college has helped me to grow and identify my potential and interests.

Almost 4 years past in this college, here I am sharing the best phase of my life. I did all the things which I imagined of doing as a college student, when I was a high school boy. Whether its academics or other curricular activities like playing basketball, Heading Tech-fest or being an active Placement coordinator, I have taken all kinds of responsibilities. Being at NMIMS SHIRPUR, I have had a tremendous amount of personal growth along with being an aspiring entrepreneur with continuous guidance of mentors. Being in such a green and peaceful campus and with people from all corners of the country, it has been a blessing for me.

After a tension of three months, taking admission into MPSTME Shirpur has done wonders for me. In this college under the guidance of highly qualified and very interactive faculty studies are fun and are proving to be very easy in spite of the vast courses and hard topics. The guest Faculty Coming from Mumbai coming every weekend gives us very detailed explanation of the subjects which helps us in having complete command on the subjects. Seminars are conducted very frequently in almost every 30 days which are taken by well known executives and highly qualified professors which brief us about how to approach our studies and how to prepare ourselves for the company placements. The frequently conducted co-curricular activities in our I.T. department are also so vital in the personality development of us and to build up the confidence to face the corporate world. Apart from studies, sports facilities are provided in the campus so that the students can freshen up their minds and keep themselves physically fit which is so vital for the overall development of a student.

"They say gold has to undergo a lot of heat before it gets ready & lustrous". I know understand the non literal part of the statement. Initially I was a bit skeptical about NMIMS shirpur campus because of its location & moreover we were the first batch of the campus. Almost two years have gone by and now I clearly see the campus growing maps and bounds both in academics & cultural activities. I now realize the brighter side of studying in a campus away from the distraction of main city & we get more time to focus on our studies and all round development. The inception of the idea of seminars delivered by students as part of the internal assessment in our I.T. Department seems different & encouraging for the students.
