A team of brilliant students from MPSTME Shirpur, under the banner of FarmConnect, has brought honor to their institution by achieving a remarkable feat at the Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2024 Grand Finale1. The event, focused on "Agriculture," was held at IIT Hyderabad on December 11-12, 2024. The team participated in a challenging 36-hour non-stop hackathon, addressing Problem Statement ID 1637: Mobile App for Direct Market Access for Farmers. FarmConnect's innovative solution earned them a place among the top 6 teams selected from over 500 participants nationwide. At IIT Hyderabad, 26 teams, totaling over 200 participants and mentors, collaborated intensively over two days to deliver innovative solutions for the agricultural sector.
