Mukesh Patel Technology Park, Shirpur campus recently inaugurated a Vertical Integrated Project (VIP) lab on December 5th, 2024. The event was graced by Dr. Edward J. Coyle, the Director of the VIP Program at Georgia Tech, USA & Dr. Koteswara Anne, Dean of MPSTME. A total of 07 interdisciplinary projects were presented from MPSTME, SPTM, SAST, and CTF to Dr. Edward J. Coyle, the Director of the VIP, and shared their perspectives on potential VIP projects. They emphasized the program's potential to foster cross-disciplinary collaboration among various schools within NMIMS Deemed-to-be University. The inauguration was accompanied by an exhibition of 12 student projects from MPSTME, SPTM & CTF in the dedicated VIP lab. Additionally, a real-time drone-based project in progress at the UAS NMIMS Lab in MPSTME showcased the program's practical applications and the tangible outcomes of student involvement.
