A survey camp was conducted for students of II year B. Tech & MBA Tech. Civil Engineering Department on Feb 08, 2017 at Songir, nearly 25 Kms away from campus. In the camp, 55 students participated and were accompanied by 3 faculty members and 2 lab assistants. Main motive for this camp was to make students familiar with the field work which is of prime importance for their overall growth, to make them understand difference between theoretical and practical work and difficulties arising during field work.
One day survey camp in which students were taken to the top of a hill named "Songir Hill” where they performed tacheometry and had an experience of working practically on a site, as faculty members taught them how to implement theoretical knowledge at site.
