At MPSTME Shirpur, we believes in “Service to mankind to is the service to God” and Social Responsibility is a key contributor to progress and hence the Institute has strived make concrete effort to sensitize young Engineers and Techno-managers to their social responsibility. As an outcome of these social sensitization process students in 2007 formed “Social Activity Cell” (SAC), a voluntary association of students under the guidance of Prof. S.B. Patil as a SAC Conselor. SAC is active throughout these years, constantly organizing events, drives, movie shows to create social awareness on various issues that being faced in the society
In the past, SAC organized various activities like
- Blood Donation Camps,
- Seminars by Social workers and NGOs to create social awareness
- Financial contribution to the students and staff in case of emergency
- Distribution of school Bags,
- Clothes donation drives,
- Anti Smoking drives ,
- Go Green campaigns,
- Education to poor and needy.
- Directors Cut – Documentary Movie shows to increase the social awareness
